Camels are a fascinating animal with a unique character. If not for Camels, Bedouin life in the Desert would have been impossible. Spending time travelling through the Desert is the epitome of the Bedouin experience. Camels are considered “ships” of the desert; they don’t sink in the deep red sand, they float across it carrying their riders safely over the dunes. Camel riding is the traditional Bedouin way to move around in the desert.
Jeep Tour is a flexible, fun tour for all ages. If you are active people then there are plenty of opportunities to scramble, hike, jump. If you are more sedate by nature then you can sit and enjoy the views, stroll, take photos, discover in your own way. This Jeep Tour covers all the best, most interesting Wadi Rum ‘sites’, and can be tailored to include a camel trek, or extra hiking.
Jordan’s Wadi Rum and its ‘rose-red City’ of Petra provide a magical setting for a winter walking holiday. Rising abruptly from the desert plains, the red-ochre sandstone mesas of Wadi Rum provide one of the world’s most dramatic landscapes. In this traditional land of the Bedouin, our treks will take us on ancient trails through hidden canyons and across open rocky slopes to the summits of several of the biggest formations in Jordan.
Classic One Day Tour

Reaching the camp at dusk, you will enjoy a traditional dinner and a relaxing evening by the fire with music and bedouin tea. You can either choose to sleep in a tent or under a million stars and the silver moon, watching the colorful Milky Way and with a little bit of luck, some shooting stars. The second day, after breakfast we guarantee your return to the village. If you would like to return to the village by camel instead, we can arrange a camel trek for you in the morning (a 2 hours ride), for an additional cost of 25 JOD per camel. * The tour starts at 10AM every day..
